If you got here searching for what "revenue intelligence" means, the short answer is: software that watches what your sales team does and draws conclusions the CRM does not.
The long answer includes the price, which almost nobody puts in writing.
What the category does
Three things, in different proportions depending on the product:
It captures activity. Your team's email, meetings and calls, connected straight to the mailbox and calendar instead of depending on somebody logging them. This is the part that solves the real problem, which is that nobody updates the CRM.
It analyses conversation. Records and transcribes calls, detects topics, measures who talks how much. The most visible part, and the one Gong is named for.
It predicts. Cross-references all of the above with history and produces a forecast that does not depend on what the rep declares. The part Clari is named for.
The two reference products, and what they cost
A warning first, because it matters: neither Clari nor Gong publishes pricing. Both go by quote. What follows are figures that circulate on software comparison sites and in deals buyers have described publicly. Treat them as an order of magnitude, not a rate card, and expect them to move a lot with size and negotiation.
Clari. Roughly $1,000 to $2,000 per user per year, with a platform floor usually reported around $24,000 a year.
Gong. Roughly $1,200 to $1,600 per seat per year, plus a platform fee ranging from about $5,000 to $50,000 depending on size, and typically a fifteen-seat minimum.
Why the number that matters is not price per user
A team of five does the easy arithmetic: five times fifteen hundred is seven and a half thousand a year. Affordable.
That is not the arithmetic. The arithmetic is the platform floor, paid in full whether you are five people or fifty. And with Gong, the seat minimum on top: if there are five of you, you pay for fifteen.
Which is why the category is built for teams of thirty and up. It is not that a team of five finds it expensive. It is that the pricing model does not contemplate them existing.
What you actually buy for that money
For a large team, a lot. Call recording with analysis, forecasting on your own history, dashboards per rep, integrations with everything. It is well built and it does what it says.
For a small team, three problems that money does not fix:
Rollout. Activity capture and call recording need every person to install, accept and not turn off. With five people that is one meeting; the problem is that half the value depends on it holding for months.
Volume to predict on. A forecast based on history needs history. With twenty closed deals a year the model has nothing to learn from and ends up showing you averages you already knew.
The legal side. Recording calls in Spain means informing people and, depending on the case, obtaining consent. Not impossible, but a project rather than a checkbox.
What you can do without entering the category
Quite a lot, and it is worth exhausting before asking anybody for a quote.
The free part first. Five of the lists people buy this for are already in HubSpot and come out of stock filters. A stalled-deal alert takes fifteen minutes if you are on Professional.
And measure before buying. The expensive mistake is buying the whole category and only then discovering which part of the problem you had. The four pipeline-hygiene indicators can be estimated by hand in an afternoon, and that number tells you whether your problem is capture, process, or simply not enough deals.
Where we sit
With honesty about what we are and are not.
CERUNA does exactly one of the three things above: cross-check your team's real activity against what the CRM has logged, and name the difference. It does not record calls and it does not do predictive forecasting. It reads email and calendar headers, not content.
And it starts with a measurement rather than a subscription: the Revenue Blind Spot Audit is €750, report in 72 hours, refunded if it does not find three things you did not know. If the report comes back clean, you do not have this problem and you have saved yourself the €24,000 conversation.
What we are not going to tell you is that we are Clari for less money. We are not, and for a forty-person team with a long cycle and recorded calls, they do things we do not.
